The Huawei S5751-L8P2PN2X-RUA is a groundbreaking Remote Unit (RU) designed for the next generation of simplified networks. It is uniquely engineered for high-bandwidth scenarios where deploying local power cables is difficult, costly, or restricted. By supporting PoE-In technology and 10GbE uplinks, this unit brings ultra-fast connectivity to any corner of your building using only an Ethernet cable.

A: To ensure stable 10G performance and PoE-Out budget, it is recommended to power the S5751-L8P2PN2X-RUA using a PoE++ (60W or 90W) port from a compatible Huawei Central Switch.

Q: Does the 10G SFP+ port support PoE-In?

A: Typically, PoE-In is delivered via the copper GE ports or specialized hybrid links. If using 10G SFP+ for data, the device can also be powered by a local DC adapter if PoE-In is not being utilized.

Q: How many PoE devices can I power via PoE-Out?

A: The PoE-Out budget depends on the PoE-In power source. When powered by a 90W source, the RU can effectively share that power among its 8 downlink ports for devices like IP phones and light sensors.
